Forumer has updated their site with the following two messages: Posted on October 5 Hello, The network is experiencing some connectivity issues which is resulting in some sites not connecting or connecting slowly. The engineers are aware of the issues and are working to restore access. We apologize for any inconveniences and thank you for your patience while we sort this out. Regards, Forumer Team Posted on October 9 As we mentioned previously, we have been working since late Thursday night to restore service to certain phpbb2 boards on Forumer that are hosted on the cloud with Amazon’s web services. The servers impacted are #s 14, 16 and 19. We are doing everything we can and are working with AWS to bring the servers back online, but are not optimistic about full data recovery as we are facing numerous difficulties. We appreciate your patience and will keep you posted as soon as we have more information. There is one post today on another help forum saying the engineers are still working on the problem and they will update us with any new information. So.. it appears to be a pretty large problem that may take some time to fix. I'm as frustrated as I imagine the other members are. I just wanted to encourage those that are here to feel free to post about anything. Who knows me may need to switch over to using this board. I hope that doesn't happen though because of the wealth of information on the old board over the past several years that I would hate to lose. If you know of anyone and have their contact info i.e. through facebook please feel free to direct them over here. Thanks!

Uh-oh, that doesn't sound too good! I'd hate to lose those old threads too. I hope they do manage to save it.

That certainly does not sound good, but at least it's good to have an update. I hope there is a way that the admins can at least contact privately via email regular participants so at least they can know what's going on and where we are located in the future.
Thanks for all the hard work and the update.

Hi Luna, thanks for keeping us updated. Sounds like a huge issue...board has been down for over a week.
I am surprised it's due to Amazon's cloud servers. I know site managers who swear by AWS...
